UNDERSTANDING CLD WORK
SUMMARY
This resource category supports the development of workers and agencies engaged in community learning and community development work. We look at the work context – largely form the perspective of how organisations and agencies seek to work within community settings. We also seek to understand the nature of such organisations.
The ‘Understanding Community Learning Development Work’ (06) category also reviews the role of community development workers, where community learning is a key element of their practice. We also explore monitoring, evaluation, review and planning as a crucial strand of practical work within day to day work which underpins and drives the improvement and development of worker and agency practice.
