The Questions (Identified by local Community Health team members)
1. Can we identify the intended work outcomes – what we hope to achieve and how we might confirm that our work has been successful?
- Why Is learning relevant in what we are trying to achieve?
- What is the learning for our clients likely to be within each task area – what learning will encourage and enable them to contribute to our achievement of the intended work outcomes?
- If learning plays a part, do we need to decide on our learning strategy – how we will support our learners to achieve the success we want?
- Will we also need to think about how will we know when success has been achieved and how we can evidence that we have successfully achieved our work outcomes?
- Will we also need to evaluate the whole experience and look at what we have learned from it?
PROMPTS FOR REFLECTION AND DISCUSSION
- Why should we be interested in enabling our clients to build their individual capacity?
- Why should we be interested in collective and community capacity building?
