COMMUNITY LEARNING DEVELOPMENT
This free website accesses visitors to Community Development training resources, produced during the development and delivery of work with people within deprived or disadvantaged communities and neighbourhoods, in the UK.
The concept underpinning and informing the ideas and materials within this website is that through learning, and in particular experiential learning in community settings, individuals are changed, to choose to bring about change in themselves and the world around them.
There is much in this website about people as learners and the nature of learning within community settings.
We are concerned that workers and learners in the fields of community work, community development work and community learning, get free access to whatever resources and ideas that they might find useful here.
